Brewery District Monthly Meetings

On the second Wednesday of each month, the Brewing Heritage Trail organizes a monthly meeting for anyone interested in neighborhood activities. These meetings are always FREE and change location from month to month, but are usually in or nearby the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. There is usually a brief presentation by the host site or someone from a local business about their latest project and there is also an opportunity for anyone in attendance to make announcements or ask questions about neighborhood related issues.
 
Here’s some information about the next meeting:
 
Where: 454 West McMicken Avenue
When: Wednesday, September 9 at 5:30pm
 
Join us for the September meeting at a new building rehab project being conducted by neighborhood residents Bob & Tina Sehlhorst. They will provide some insight about the project, including the challenges they’ve faced, the next steps in the process, as well as their ultimate objectives for the site.  We’ll also have some neighborhood announcements to share and meeting sponsors TruPartner Credit Union will buy the beer and snacks. Hope you can make it!

Peck Alley Clean-up in Mohawk (OTR)

When: Saturday, September 5 at 9:30am

Where: 2117 Hamburg Street (near Peck Alley)

Our friends at Spring in Our Steps will join neighborhood residents to make Peck Alley accessible for the first time in over three decades! The cleanup will include breaking down invasive growth, cutting large branches, and clearing the brick surface. Meet up begins at 9:30am. Cleanup starts at 10am. Snacks and coffee from Deeper Roots, along with fruit, water, and gloves, will be provided.

Oktoberfest Beer Booth Volunteers

When: Thursday, September 17 – Sunday, September 20

Where: Sawyer Point & Yeatman’s Cove (Booth Location TBD)

The Brewing Heritage Trail has been selected to run a beer booth during Cincinnati’s Oktoberfest Celebration! We’ll need lots of volunteers to make it a success and most shifts are only 3.5 to 4 hours long. We’ll also have an organizational board member or paid staff person on site at all times to help coordinate things.
