The Brewing Heritage Trail is a non-profit dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and promoting the rich brewing culture and history of Cincinnati’s historic Brewery District.

A Brewing Heritage Trail Memberships provides access to exclusive member events throughout the year, such as unique beer tastings, educational programming, and behind the scenes experiences. It also includes a 10% discount on all Brewing Heritage Trail Tours and Merchandise, as well as special beverage discounts with our partner businesses when you show them your BHT Membership Card!

EVENTS

Events Planned for 2026:

Valley View Preserve Hop Harvest Event

  • Join us at 2pm on Sunday, August 30 at the Valley View Nature Preserve in Milford during their hop harvest!
  • Lead cultivator Doug Bulla will take members on a short tour of the hop fields and discuss the process from planting to harvest.
  • Witness their 1973 Polish hop harvester in action!
  • Beer tasting will be provided by the Little Miami Brewery, who brews with hops from Valley View!
  • A registration link will be sent to members a few weeks before the event.

Happy Hour at the Rhinegeist Brewery

  • Thursday, August 20 from 5:30-7:30pm is our next monthly Happy Hour taking place at the Rhinegeist Brewery in Over-the-Rhine. All are welcome to attend this event, but only our members in attendance will receive a $2 discount on their beer.
  • On the 3rd Thursday of each month we organize a BHT Member Happy Hour event scheduled at a local brewery taproom or bar. Each event will have unique details, so stay tuned for more info and dates!

Darkside of Brewing Member Tour

  • Be the first to experience our seasonal true crime and gruesome events tour on Friday, September 4 at 7pm! This tour is normally $39, but will be FREE for BHT Members on this date! A registration will be sent to our members in mid-August.

“Captains of Industry” Spring Grove Cemetery Tour

  • This new free members only tour will take place on Sunday, October 18 at 3pm and will focus on Cincinnati’s industrial leaders, including several beer barons buried at the cemetery. Afterwards, we’ll have an informal gathering at the nearby Wiedemann’s Brewery for a beer! A registration link will be sent our members in late September. 

Sam Adams Utopias Tasting

  • This unique event will take place in December, once the new 28% ABV Utopias has been released. More details as the date gets closer!

Bockfest Brewer for a Day at Little Miami Brewing Company

  • In January, five lucky members will get to help the brewing team at Little Miami brew their 2027 Bockfest beer!

Partner Breweries Happy Hour Taproom Events Throughout the Year

  • Locations and dates will be added in early 2026, so stay tuned!
